About Us

We are a group of volunteers and partners in New York City and beyond, with a desire to make something out of the underutilized space along Conduit Boulevard and along highways further east. Our advocacy includes grassroots organization of local communities and businesses, building support together so we can ask leaders, such as elected officials and city agencies, to enable the creation of this greenway. We are also teaming up with people and organizations who can assist us with designs and funding.

Daniel Solow

Daniel founded this project in November 2014, shortly after biking 75 miles in the NYC Century; his experience through Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan helped him envision a connected trail closer to home by Southeast Queens. He’s an environmentalist advocating for an increasingly sustainable future.

Web administrator

“Samuelito” has a passion for access to transportation alternatives and is volunteering in other advocacy groups for this purpose. He joined this project in 2016, seeing that there already is a movement to bring better access to an area historically lacking transit options.
